What actually happens when you ask us to order a brand

Special orders sound like a favour. They are just how the shop works. Here is the whole process, start to finish.

People apologise when they ask us to order something. Please do not. A shop this size cannot stock every brand, and ordering what you actually take is a normal part of the week for us, not an exception. This is what happens after you ask.

Day one: we find it and price it

You give us the brand, the product, and the strength, in person, by phone, or through the contact form. A photo of the label is perfect. We check which of our suppliers carries it and what it will cost you, and we tell you before anything is ordered. If we already have something comparable on the shelf we will say so, and the choice is yours.

The next order goes out

Your item is added to the next supplier order. Most suppliers deliver within the week; a few specialist lines take longer, and we will tell you which. Nothing is charged up front.

It lands, we call

When it arrives it goes behind the counter with your name on it and we ring or message you. Pick it up when it suits. If you want it every month, say so once and we will keep it coming without a subscription, a card on file, or an app.

  • No ordering fee
  • No minimum quantity
  • No commitment until you pick it up
