Nutrition Source is a locally owned shop where you can pick up the bottle, read the label, and ask a person what is actually in it.

We offer the highest quality whole food and herbal nutritional supplements, and items not found in your local stores such as local artisan soaps, lotions, essential oils, protein and greens powders, electrolytes, organic teas and much more.

Why we need nutritional supplements

Unless you grow your own food and raise your own meat, today’s food just does not have the same concentration of vitamins, minerals and protein it did 100 years ago.

This decline is due to many factors, including soil depletion from improperly managed crop rotation, the use of fertilizers and pesticides, and of course the chemicals, preservatives and artificial flavorings that are added to our processed foods.

We encourage you to eat fresh, organic and farm-raised natural foods, but even with the best diet we may still be lacking essential nutrients. That’s where Nutrition Source can help.

Dr. Barbara Mitchem, DC, ACN is available for virtual clinical assessments when your needs become more than you can handle.

She has been practicing chiropractic for over 40 years, and has been concentrating on helping patients with their nutritional needs for the past 20 years.

Workshops

Muscle testing workshops

Muscle testing is a valuable method to help you ascertain where your body is lacking, what you might need, and even whether a certain food, nutrient, or personal care product is good for you.

Dr. Mitchem teaches workshops locally to lay people on a regular basis in the Columbus area. She also teaches more advanced workshops to practitioners across the state.
