Clinical Assessment

A quiet room at the back of the shop and an appointment long enough to go through everything you are taking. Coming later. Here is the plan.

What we are building

A quiet room at the back of the shop, and an appointment long enough to actually go through what you are taking.

Most people arrive at a supplement shelf with a carrier bag of bottles and no way to tell which ones are doing anything. The assessment is meant to fix that: one sitting, everything on the table, and a plain answer about what is worth keeping.

We will publish the start date here and announce it on our Facebook page. Until then, ask at the counter and we will put you on the list.

The sitting

What an assessment will cover

Everything you take

Bring the bottles. We go through them one at a time: what each is for, what dose you are on, and how long you have been taking it.

Overlaps and gaps

Three products can carry the same ingredient without saying so on the front. We look for the doubling up, and for the obvious things missing.

Timing and absorption

Some of this matters more than the brand does: with food or without, morning or night, and which pairs cancel each other out.

What to stop buying

We sell supplements, and we will still tell you when something in your bag is not earning its place. A shorter list you actually take beats a longer one you do not.

When to see a doctor

Some things belong with a physician, not a shop counter. When that is the answer, it is the answer we will give you.

What it is not

This is a nutrition and supplement review carried out in a retail shop. It is not a medical diagnosis, it does not treat or cure any condition, and it is not a substitute for care from a licensed physician. Nothing we tell you should be used to stop or change a prescribed medication. That conversation belongs with the person who prescribed it.
